- How do I Log in to my account online?

Your Account number and Password can be found on any of your startel bills.

They are located on the last page at the bottom.

You can use these details to login at the top of any part of the Startel Website.

- Go Paperless with E-Bill

Save paper – turn your paper bill off and use E-Billing:
  • Once registered to ‘E-Bill’ an email is sent to you once a month with your bill.

  • Access previous bills online.
  • You can access detailed call itemisation quickly and easily online.

To sign up; log in to you account, go to the My Account page and Edit your details adding your email address and select Email Billing.

- How do I pay my bill online?

Use your account details to log in then select 'Pay My Bill' in the 'My Account' menu.

Startel Communications does not condone or endorse the use of Premium TXT services such as Ringtone Downloads, Astrology Readings or Mobile Video Games. Most of these services have a hidden ongoing charges you may not even be aware of - UP TO $9 PER MESSAGE YOU RECEIVE!

While we here at Startel respect your right to use these third party services, we have developed a system to help your costs from spiralling out of control.
If you start to use Premium Text or 1900 numbers regulary, one of our team leaders will contact you as soon as possible in order to keep your account at a manageable level. We can offer service bars to stop 1900 and Premium Services in but the best thing would be to avoid these services completely.

- No Hassle Payments

Sign up to Direct Debit Billing and have your bill automatically paid from your cheque, savings or credit account.

This option provides the convenience of automatically paying your Startel bills on the due date.

No payment processing fee applies for succesfull transactions.

Dishonour fees may apply to reversed or declined transactions. Startel Communications can not refund bank charges incurred due to insufficiant funds or incorrect details.

Direct debit can only be setup on bank accounts or credit, charge or debit cards for which you are the Financial Account Holder.
Direct debit cancelation requests made close to the due date may not be processed in time. Please check your invoice to confirm due date this is when direct debit will occur.

- How do I connect my new service?

- How can I buy a new phone from Startel?
You can search for the phone you want on our shop. You can then fill out the application and using your credit card to make the purchase. If you are already a Startel client you can also choose to add a new phone to your bill or split the payments up over the remainder of the contarct term. In most cases your new phone will be dispatched within 24 hours.

- What is a Cap?
A cap works by 'capping' key services like national and international voice calls and SMS, national MMS, Voicemail and special numbers at a certain limit each month. For example, the $49 Cap allows you to make up to $330 worth of national calls, SMS and other included services, and you only pay $49 per month.

- What happens when I go over my Cap value limit?
At that point standard rates apply. So on the $49 Cap for example, standard rates apply once you've reached your $330 monthly Cap limit. See the Cap details table for standard rates.

Credit Card You can now pay your phone bill from 8:30AM to 8:00PM during week days by using our automated credit card system. Simply call 1300 13 7827 to pay your bill day or night. A receipt number will be provided for your records.

What happens if I dont pay my bill?
Your service will be suspended for all out going calls once the account is 7 days passed the due date. If the bill still remains unpaid it will eventually be sent to a debt collection agency and this could lead to legal action and or an adverse strike placed on your credit file.

- Do I receive a tax invoice with my purchase?
Yes, it will be delivered in the same package as your new hardware

- What happens if I'm not present at the time of delivery?
If you are not present at the time of delivery or you do not have all the required forms of ID, the courier will not be able to give you your order. He/she will leave a card with instructions on where to pick up your order.
